Friendship & Values……

Hey Life You are Beautiful

Two friends were walking
through the desert. During some
point of the journey they had an argument, and
one friend slapped the other one in the face.
The one who got slapped was hurt,
but without saying anything, wrote in the sand:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis,

where they decided to take a bath. The one who
had been slapped got stuck in the mire and
started drowning, but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near

drowning, he wrote on a stone:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE.

The friend who had slapped and
saved his best friend asked him,

“After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone,
why?” The other friend replied “When someone hurts us we should
write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away.
But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave
it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND
AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person,
an hour to appreciate them,

a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.
Send this phrase to the people you’ll never
forget. It’s a short message to let them know that you’ll never forget them.

The Black Spot

Life You are beautiful.

One day a professor entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They waited anxiously at their desks for the test to begin. The professor handed out the question paper, with the text facing down as usual. Once he handed them all out, he asked his students to turn the page and begin. To everyone’s surprise, there were no questions….

Just a black dot in the center of the page.

The professor seeing the expression on everyone’s face, told them the following:
“I want you to write what you see there.”

The students confused, got started on the inexplicable task.

At the end of the class, the professor took all the answer papers and started reading each one of them aloud in front of all the students. All of them with no exceptions, described the black dot, trying to explain its position in the middle of the sheet, etc. etc. etc. After all had been read, the classroom silent,

The professor began to explain: “I am not going to grade on you this, I just wanted to give you something to think about. No one wrote about the white part of the paper.

Everyone focused on the black dot – and the same happens in our lives.
We have a white paper to observe and enjoy, but we always focus on the dark spots. Our life is a gift given to us by God, with love and care, and we always have reasons to celebrate – nature renewing itself everyday, our friends around us, the job that provides our livelihood, the miracles we see everyday…….

However we insist on focusing only on the dark spots – the health issues that bother us, the lack of money, the complicated relationship with a family member, the disappointment with a friend etc
The dark spots are very small compared to everything we have in our lives, but they are the ones that pollute our minds.

Take your eyes away from the black spots in your life. Enjoy each one of your blessings, each moment that life gives you.

Be happy and live a life positively!

Swami Vivekananda Quotes

Hey Life you are Beautiful

Success

“Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life; dream of it; think of it; live on that idea. Let the brain, the body, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success, and this is the way great spiritual giants are produced.”

Power

“All power is within you; you can do anything and everything. Believe in that, do not believe that you are weak; do not believe that you are half-crazy lunatics, as most of us do nowadays. You can do anything and everything, without even the guidance of any one. Stand up and express the divinity within you.”

Greatest sin

“The greatest sin is to think yourself weak”

Live alone

“They alone live, who live for others.”

Thoughts

“We are what our thoughts have made us; so take care about what you think. Words are secondary. Thoughts live; they travel far.”

Believe in God

“You cannot believe in God until you believe in yourself.”

Stop not

“Arise, awake, and stop not until your goal is achieved.”

Condemn none

“Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.”

Risks

“Take Risks in Your Life If u Win, U Can Lead! If u Lose, U Can Guide!”

Astrology

“Astrology and all these mystical things are generally signs of a weak mind; therefore as soon as they are becoming prominent in our minds, we should see a physician, take good food, and rest.”

Your heart ?

Hey Life you are very beautiful
What should you  do when someone break your heart?

1. Cry you heart out. Get a bag of tissue rolls and let your
tears speak of what pain no one else could fully understand.

2. Call a trusted friend and confide to him/her your hurts. Cry again.

3. Rest for a while. Don’t let your tears dry out, it would be
difficult later on if you run out of tears to release the heaviness you feel in your heart.

4. Call you mother, Share if anything you want to share. (Edited as I wont agree as in source)

5. Eat chocolate. Whoever says that life can’t be bittersweet?

6. Even if you don’t feel like it, go to the gym and hit that treadmill.
Release all your pent up energies. You’ll feel better.

7. Have some more sleep, cuddle a cute teddy bear, the one your boyfriend did not give you!

8. Set your alarm clock to avoid oversleeping. Use three clocks if you must so
you won’t cheat by turning it off and just going back to sleep.
Put two clocks beyond your reach so you’d really need to get up to turn it off.

9. Search your all DVD files and watch every comedy film you can find.
I know, you’re almost sure you won’t laugh anyway, but just do this for the
sake of doing something for now. Give Mr. Bean a chance okay?

10. Search your DVDs again. This time, look for tragic and war movies,
films like “The Pianist” or “Schindler’s List”. You might feel a bit thankful
after watching the terrible troubles of people living during those times.

11. Call another friend. Tell her to keep watch and just call you once in a while.

WOMAN. . . . . . . . .

Hey Life you are Beautiful

When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day.......

An angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her ?".

The lord answered. " Have you seen all the  specifications I have to meet to shape her?".....

she must function on all kinds of situations....,

she must be able to embrace several kids at the same time,

give a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart ,

she must do all this with only two hands,.."

She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day".... ...

THE ANGEL was impressed. .." Just two hands.....impossible !" ..

And this is the standard model ? ! ...."

The Angel came closer and touched the woman"......  ..

." But you have made her so soft, Lord".....

." She is soft", said the Lord,

" But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome "...

."Can she think?" The Angel asked...

The Lord answered. " Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate" ...

The Angel touched her cheeks.....

" Lord, it seems this creation is leaking !  You have put too many burdens on her. " ...

."She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel...

" What's it for?" Asked the Angel..... .

The Lord said. " Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride."...

THIS made a big impression on the Angel,

" Lord, you are genius. You thought of everything.

A  woman is indeed marvelous !".... ...

Lord said." Indeed she is.

She has strength that amazes a man.

She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.

She holds happiness, love and opinions.

She smiles when she feels like screaming.

She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid.

She fights for what she believes in.

Her love is unconditional.

Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies

but she finds strength to get on with life." ..

The Angel asked : So she is a perfect ?

The lord replied : No. She has just one drawback

"She often forgets what she is worth".

Share it to all the women u respect ....👍

Be humble

Life you are beautiful.

“At the peak of my career, I was once travelling by plane. The passenger next to me was elderly. Dressed in a simple shirt and pant, he appeared middle class but well educated. Other passengers kept glancing at me. But this gentleman appeared unconcerned. He read his newspaper, looked out of the window, and when tea came, he sipped it quietly. Trying to strike a conversation, I smiled. The man courteously smiled back and said hello. We got talking and I brought the subject to cinema and asked, “Do you watch films?” The man replied, “Oh, very few. I did see one many years ago.” I mentioned that I worked in films myself. The man said, “Oh, that’s nice. What do you do?” I replied, “I am an actor.” The man nodded, “Oh, wonderful.” That was it. When we landed, I held out my hand and said, “It was good to travel with you. By the way, my name is Dilip Kumar.” The man shook my hand and smiled, “Thank you. I am J. R. D. Tata.” I learned, no matter how big you are, there is always someone bigger. Be humble. It costs nothing.”

Food for Parents

A man, an avid Gardener saw a small Butterfly laying few eggs in one of the pots in his garden.
Since that day he looked at the egg with ever growing curiosity and eagerness.
The egg started to move and shake a little.
He was excited to see a new life coming up right in front of his eyes.
He spent hours watching the egg now.
The egg started to expand and develop cracks.
A tiny head and antennae started to come out ever so slowly.
The man's excitement knew no bounds.
He got his magnifying glasses and sat to watch the life and body of a pupa coming out.
He saw the struggle of the tender pupa and couldn't resist his urge to "HELP".
He went and got a tender forceps to help the egg break, a nip here, a nip there to help the struggling life and the pupa was out.
The man was ecstatic!
He waited now each day for the pupa to grow and fly like a beautiful butterfly, but alas that never happened.
The larvae pupa had a oversized head and kept crawling along in the pot for the full 4 weeks and died!
Depressed the man went to his botanist friend and asked the reason.
His friend told him the struggle to break out of the egg helps the larvae to send blood to its wings and the head push helps the head to remain small so that the tender wings can support it thru its 4 week life cycle.
In his eagerness to help, the man destroyed a beautiful life!
Struggles help all of us, that's why a bit of effort goes a long way to develop our strength to face life's difficulties!
As parents, we sometimes go too far trying to help and protect our kids from life's harsh realities and disappointments.
We don't want our kids to struggle like we did.
Harvard psychiatrist Dr. Dan Kindlon says that over-protected children are more likely to struggle in relationships and
with challenges.
We're sending our kids the message that they're not capable of helping themselves.
To quote clinical psychologist,
Dr. Wendy 's Moral:
"It is Our Job to prepare Our Children for the Road & Not prepare the Road for Our Children"

Life Love Health Wealth... Steave Jobs

Steve Jobs’ Last Words:

I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world.
In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success.

However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to.

At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death.

In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer…

Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth…

Should be something that is more important:
Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days ...
Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me.
God gave us the senses to let us feel the love in everyone’s heart, not the illusions brought about by wealth.

The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me.
What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love.
That’s the true riches which will follow you, accompany you, giving you strength and light to go on.
Love can travel a thousand miles. Life has no limit. Go where you want to go. Reach the height you want to reach. It is all in your heart and in your hands.

What is the most expensive bed in the world? - "Sick bed" …

You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone to bear the sickness for you.

Material things lost can be found. But there is one thing that can never be found when it is lost – "Life".

When a person goes into the operating room, he will realize that there is one book that he has yet to finish reading – "Book of Healthy Life".

Whichever stage in life we are at right now, with time, we will face the day when the curtain comes down.

Treasure Love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends...
Treat yourself well. Cherish others.

Baby Camel and Mother

A mother and a baby camel were lying around, and suddenly the baby camel asked, “mother, may I ask you some questions? Mother said, “Sure! Why son, is there something bothering you? Baby said, “Why do camels have humps?” Mother said “Well son, we are desert animals, we need the humps to store water and we are known to survive without water”. Baby said, “Okay, then why are our legs long and our feet rounded?” Mother said, “Son, obviously they are meant for walking in the desert. You know with these legs I can move around the desert better than anyone does!” Baby said, “Okay, then why are our eyelashes long? Sometimes it bothers my sight”. Mother with pride said, “My son, those long thick eyelashes are your protective cover. They help to protect your eyes from the desert sand and wind”.

Baby after thinking said, “I see. So the hump is to store water when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and these eye lashes protect my eyes from the desert then what in god’s name are we doing here in the Zoo!?”

Boy and the tree.

Hey Life you are beautiful

Once upon a time, there lived a big mango tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday.

He climbed to the tree top, ate the mangoes, took a nap under the shadow… He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.

Time went by… The little boy grew, and he no longer played around the tree.

One day, the boy came back to the tree with a sad look on his face.

“Come and play with me,” the tree asked the boy.

“I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.” The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.”

“Sorry, I don’t have money… but you can pick all my mangoes and sell them so you will have money.”

The boy was so excited. He picked all the mangoes on the tree and left happily. The boy didn’t come back. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy grown into a man returned. The tree was so excited.

“Come and play with me,” the tree said.

“I don’t have time to play. I have to work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”

“Sorry, I don’t have a house, but you can chop off my branches to build your house.”

So the man cut all the branches off the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy didn’t come back afterward. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.

“Come and play with me!” The tree said.

“I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?”

“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”

So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and didn’t come back for a long time.

Finally, the man returned after he had been gone for so many years.

“Sorry, my boy, but I don’t have anything for you anymore. No more mangoes to give you.” The tree said.

“I don’t have teeth to bite,” the man replied.

“No more trunk for you to climb on.”

“I am too old for that now,” the man said.

“I really can’t give you anything… the only thing left is my dying roots,” the tree said with sadness.

“I don’t need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.

“Good! Old tree roots are the best place to lean on and rest. Come sit down with me and rest.”

The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled.

The tree in the story represents our parents. When we are young, we love to play with them. When we grow up, we leave them and only come back when we need help. Parents sacrifice their lives for us.

Little Boy’s Meeting with God

There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer and started his journey. When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons.
The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.
As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was, and he got up to leave but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever. When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, “What did you do today that made you so happy?” He replied, “I had lunch with God.” But, before his mother could respond, he added, “You know what? She’s got the most beautiful smile I’ve ever seen!”
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked, “Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?” She replied, “I ate Twinkies in the park with God.” But, before her son responded, she added, “You know, he’s much younger than I expected.”
